Laos: Officials discuss national food and nutrition security
Stakeholders from the government, development partners, civil society organisations and the private sector gathered on 10 July to discuss and exchange information on food and nutrition security in Laos.
Meeting at the Policy Dialogue on Food and Nutrition Security and the Asean Integrated Food Security Framework in Laos, participants were provided an opportunity to hear about the Agricultural Development Strategy to 2025 and Vision to 2030 and the National Rice Production for National Food Security Strategy.
The attendees also learned about the Development Strategy of the Crop Sector 2025 and Vision 2030, and the National Nutrition Strategy and Plan of Action for 2010-2015.
