Minister hails Lao-Vietnamese communications cooperation
Laos and Vietnam have successfully cooperated in communications, especially human resources and ICT sector development, and will continue to do so, according to a leading official. The successful cooperation has highlighted at a press conference in Vientiane on Tuesday by Minister of Post and Telecommunications Dr Thansamay Kommasith to help mark Laos-Vietnam Solidarity and Friendship Year 2017, as well as celebrate the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Laos-Vietnam Friendship and Cooperation Treaty (July 18, 1977-July 18, 2017) and the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations (September 5, 1962- September 5, 2017).
