KrisEnergy set to sign oil agreement
Singapore-listed oil and gas firm KrisEnergy says it is ready to sign an agreement with the Cambodian government after completing details of a revised sharing contract for the Block A oilfield. Kelvin Tang, president of KrisEnergy Cambodia, wrote to Khmer Times on April 6 saying that since becoming operator in late 2014, the company has worked with the Government to finalize all the terms of the revised production sharing contract. He said that many government departments, including the Ministry of Mines and Energy and the Ministry of Economy and Finance were involved because the agreements cover fiscal terms, government participation and operational terms.
