IACD boosts education and cultural exchange project
The Institute of Asian Culture and Development and the Ministry of Education and Sports will work together to improve education and cultural exchange in Laos after reaching a grant project agreement. The agreement was signed on 19 July in Vientiane by IACD Country Director Dr Hosik Im and the ministry’s Deputy Director of External Relations Department Associate Prof. Dr Bounchanh Siphanthong. The five-year project costing US$938,238 is supported by Korea’s Ministry of Education and will assist schools in Vientiane along with Pakkading and Borikhan districts of Borikhamxay province.
