Caritas Luxembourg funds livelihood improvement in Xieng Khuang
Caritas Luxembourg has provided a grant of over 1 million euros (more than 9 billion kip) to improve the Strengthening Livelihood Systems Project in Mok district, Xieng Khuang province. The project agreement was signed recently by the Director of the provincial Agriculture and Forestry Department, Mr Khamsy Chanthavongsy, and Caritas Luxembourg’s Head of Mission Ms Phaivanh Changnakham. Under the new agreement, more than 4,400 residents (including 2,349 females) in 696 households in 15 villages in the targeted community will benefit from the five-year project (2016-2020).
